E-KIDNA’S AIM IS TO ADVOCATE FOR THE PRIMARY PREVENTION OF CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE IN AUSTRALIA
We stand for:
- Nationally adopted and well implemented universal initiatives to prevent harm
- Simple, consistent and accessible information that parents, carers and community members can use in the daily care of children.
- Clear, consistent and national messaging to protect kids
To achieve this we advocate for:
- Key child protection priorities in policy and legislation
- Tangible implementation of primary prevention strategies across Australia
- Campaigns that message that child protection is everyone’s job
- Alignment of education offerings and key messaging around child protection.
- Increased accessibility of child protection materials for parents, caregivers, educators, and communities
